Vienna, AUSTRIA, October 15, 2008 - Serbian national football team defeated Austria 3-1 (3-0) in Vienna to stay top of World Cup qualifying Group 7
Serbia took an early lead when Milos Krasic surprised Austria's goal keeper Alexander Manninger in the 14th minute with a high 20-meter shot.
Striker Milan Jovanovic doubled the score four minutes later when he put the ball in the net after it bounced off the left post after a shot by Marko Pantelic.
After six minutes, Ivan Obradovic converted Pantelic’s pass for 3-0.
Marc Janko found the net for Austria in the 80th minute.
With nine points from four games, Serbia share the first position in this group with Lithuania.
